When will the app be available?
Soon, on Android and iPhone. We’ll announce it on tchin.ai.
Do I need to create an account?
No. The app works from the first launch with an anonymous account. To back up your data and get it back on another phone, link your Apple or Google account in Profile. While your account stays anonymous, your data stays tied to that phone.
I changed phones. How do I get my cellar back?
Install the app on the new phone and sign in with the same Apple or Google account as on the old one. If your old account was anonymous and never linked, we unfortunately can’t recover it.
Do my friends need the app to play?
Yes, each player uses their own phone, but nobody needs to create an account. What your friends rate during the game stays theirs, in their own notebook.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
Your subscription is managed by the store you bought it from:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → tchin.ai.
- Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → tchin.ai.
Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel the subscription. For a refund, contact Apple or Google; we can help you with the request.
How do I delete my account and my data?
In the app: Profile → Delete my account. If you no longer have the app, write to confidentialite@tchin-ai.com from the address linked to your account. The details are in the privacy policy.
The app recognised the wrong wine. What should I do?
AI recognition can get it wrong, especially with a damaged or poorly lit label. Pick the right wine from the suggestions or correct it by hand; if it keeps happening, send us the photo at tchin.support@tchin-ai.com.
Why does the app ask for my age?
tchin.ai is about alcohol: it’s only for people of legal drinking age (18 in Québec). We only keep your confirmation, never your date of birth.
